1560s English Fitted Gown

Firstly, thank you everyone for the compliments on my rolled hem! I know a lot of people are interested in a tutorial, so I will try my best to put one together when I have time, and figure out how to take video of my hands at work...

I wrote a pretty lengthy write up on this project on my Livejournal, so please go there to read it!

Beautiful! I actually have this type of gown on my list of future projects as well. Your rendition is just lovely!

Lovely! Beautifully finished! We have a shop at our local Ren Fest (Kansas City Rennaisance Festival) which just finished it's 7-weekend run last Sunday. Until an hour ago I would have rather run mad than look at Tudor *anything*. But your blog and Livejournal draw me in, they are irresistable.

I'm generally very good at the fiddly bits, but have never managed a rolled hem as tiny and even as yours.
