Canary in a Coal Mine

I bought seven yards of this silk satin because the price was good, but I had no idea what I was going to do with it.

Then Crimson Peak came out. :)

So someday... hopefully in the not-too-distant future, I'll make a gown inspired by Edith's!

You know, that silk is so lovely you *could* just roll around in it and pet it and admire it consider the purchase completely justified even if you never take shears nor needle to it!
