In Memory

This is the first year there hasn't been an Under the Redcoat at Colonial Williamsburg. Even though the weather is usually heinous, it's an incredibly fun event. Mainly because I get to be with some of the most awesome people I know! Luckily, the event will be back bigger and better next year. Definitely looking forward to it!

We're really missing UTR this year, too. :-( It doesn't seem like summertime without it! Can't wait to see what they come up with for us next year, though!

I've always wanted to go to UTR. Maybe next year will be the year to go.

My wife and daughter and I did Under The Redcoat at CW about 5 years ago. What a good event that was. My daughter loves events and programs like that. I hope to go again in the future. We had out honey moon at CW back in 1984.

I met someone from Wisconsin (not a reenactor--a spectator!) this weekend who takes her family almost every year--an event that's definitely missed! Love the pic :)

Congratulations to you on both your engagement and internship! I have long been an admirer of your costume work; you are so beautiful and talented! Thank you for sharing your talent.

On another note, I am an aspiring historical costumer and I was hoping to ask you a more personal question. I am 100 percent Chinese and I was wondering if that would affect what kind of reenacting I could do.

Thank you.
