Thank you, readers!!

Since Blogger won't let me reply to each individual comment, I'd like to say thank you to everyone who left me such kind comments on my last post. It really means a lot to me to hear your experiences, your advice, and your well wishes.

Things are progressing pretty well with the 1820s project. Next will be an item for my Costume College class, and finishing my 17th c bodies and hopefully a smock. Definitely not what I had originally planned to have done by the end of the summer, but a little sewing is better than no sewing.

Cheers!

Here's some lace I got recently for a future project down the road. Too pretty to let pass by!

What pretty lace! Btw, I did write a whole blog post about sewing & blogging safely to avoid RSI injuries -- trystancraft.com/costume/2014/06/28/10-tips-for-sewing-and-blogging-with-injuries-and-how-to-avoid-injuries-in-the-first-place/
