I do like copying/interpreting original pieces/fashion plates, because it's a lovely way to learn tons about sewing and how to create a perfect period look with lots of tiny details. The color is amazing and it's fun to see how many shades of yellow were in fashion back then! I'm very excitied to seeing your finished dress! Sabine
